Program Description:
If you have been paying attention to the news it is probable that you have noticed numerous news reports of fraud and the public perception of fraud. Including recent reports that as many as 6,000 IRS employees evaded paying over $50 million in taxes, and the new use of artificial intelligence in committing fraud. Another report from Sift indicated that 43% of the Gen Z population admitted to committing first-person fraud, and indeed rationalized that it was acceptable because they believe corporations and older generations stole the wealth from them and it is acceptable to take it back. Other studies show an increase in consumer frauds as inflation and higher interest rates take a toll on the economy. This webinar will examine the changing landscape for fraud and discuss what we can do to help turn the tide.
